The Community Outreach Center is here to help! There are various ways for everyone to get involved. Aside from having special events held on and off campus, we provide a variety of organizations within our office that have regularly scheduled engagements.

Big Brothers/Big Sisters C.O.U.L

(Club of Unmatched Littles)

...targets the children who need us most--including those living in single parent homes, growing up in poverty and coping with parental incarceration. Big Brothers/Big Sisters C.O.U.L is a foster-like group program working with the children from Berks County, who are waiting to be placed with a Big of their own. Our program allows the opportunity for the children to be exposed to the college students who are outstanding role models for them.

For just a few hours, a couple of times a month, you can give a Little the invaluable gift of your friendship. There is a training meeting that all volunteers must attend before working with the kids.
